About the Office

Muncie Economic Development consists of four divisions with programs that cultivate opportunities and community resources to improve Muncie’s vitality as a place to live, work, learn, and grow.  Redevelopment Commission, Residential Programs, Economic Development Commission, and Industrial Revolving Loan Fund are the four divisions that assist with business development opportunities, abandoned residential properties, residential programs, tax abatement recommendation, collaboration for entrepreneurs and start-up businesses, live work areas, and federal grants to assist manufacturing.
