Certificate of Appropriateness
Landmark owners who wish to alter the exterior of their landmark need to have the work approved by the Commission. Since its creation the Commission has reviewed 900 COA applications and have approved 97% of those requests. The following diagram shows the process.
The COA application can be completed by filling out the online form below or submitting the pdf in email or manually to the Historic Preservation Officer.
