Smoke Detectors

The Fire Prevention Bureau participates in providing smoke detectors to citizens within the community who have difficulty financially in obtaining a required smoke detector.  For assistance, please contact the Fire Prevention Bureau at (765) 747-4876.

Toys for Tots

The Muncie Fire Fighters Toys For Tots program works in conjunction with the Salvation Army to distribute toys and other items to children in our community during the holiday season. The Toys For Tots program is run strictly with donation dollars and volunteers. New and gently used toys may be donated to the Toys for Tots program at any of the seven Muncie Fire Stations year-round, or at the Toys for Tots site in the Southway Plaza on South Madison in November and December.

If you are interested in receiving support from this program for your family, please contact the Salvation Army at (765) 289-7924. All eligibility screenings are run through the Salvation Army. Sign-up begins the last week of October and runs through the first week of November.
